International Night 2016
International Night 2016, the expat event of the year, was thrown once again to build bridges between the international and local community!.
The evening started with Expat Fair, which gave internationals the opportunity to meet people from over 20 local organizations and see what they have to offer.
International Night 2016 officially began with a welcome speech by the Deputy Mayor Steen Møller. He also explained why they keep digging up the streets in Odense.
The host of the night was Conrad Molden, who took us through the evening by sharing his experience of moving to Denmark and meeting the local culture - and language.
Laughter came from the audience when the stand-up comedian Jacob Taarnhøj took the stage.
The British journalist Helen Russell talked to the guests about her ‘year of living Danishly’.
During International Night, the guests had the chance to dance under the rhythms of the energetic duo Mambe & Danochilango.
