Housing associations

There are five major housing associations in Odense.

A housing association (also known as social housing or public housing) is a not-for-profit organisation which owns and lets rental housing. To be considered for an apartment in a housing association, you need to sign up with the association and you will be put on a waiting list. Learn more about public housing in Denmark.

BoligØen.dk is portal based on collaboration of 5 housing associations: Civica, Fyns Almennyttige Boligselskab, Arbejdernes Boligforening, Odense Boligselskab and  Pårup Boligforening. By becoming a member and paying an annual membership fee, you sign up for a waiting list and can access more than 21,000 family homes on Funen.
